YCL obstructs PSC examination

Public Service Commission (PSC) withheld examination for the post of assistant health workers in Dhankuta on Tuesday after cadres of the Young Communist League (YCL) disrupted it.

YCL cadres tore up the question papers in Dhankuta leading to tussle with police. YCL attacked the examination center alleging PSC for taking examination amidst strike.

The Maoists had called strike in five eastern districts to protest a cadre's murder in Taplejung district.

The examinees in Khotang protested the cancellation of the examination, followed by clash between police and the examinees injuring over 50 examinees. Large number of police was deployed after the clash.
