ANNFSU closed door session put off
The vote-trading in the CPN (UML) affiliated All Nepal National Free Student Union (ANNFSU) has pushed closed door session of its general convention in Pokhara to uncertainty.
The session was planned for Monday. However, division over leadership has led to delay in the session. Dispute on selection of convention representatives erupted in the middle because of which the final list of convention representatives has not been published.
Union leaders held discussion until late night with zonal chiefs but failed to reach a consensus as the number of attendees in the convention crossed the normal figure.
The close door was to discuss and approve various reports by the current central committee before starting voting process to elect new executives. nepalnews.com ia Sep 23 08
