PLA commanders challenge UML, NC leaders to prove cantonments as safe haven for criminals

Reacting furiously to remarks made by some UML and NC leaders about PLA cantonments being safe haven for criminals, the Maoist affiliated People’s Liberation Army (PLA) has challenged the former to prove their statements.

Commanders of all seven divisions of the PLA issued a joint press statement on Tuesday saying such irresponsible remarks made by the leaders had humiliated their cadres waiting patiently in the cantonments to help the peace process.

We are not ready to tolerate such humiliation, PLA has stated. We challenge the leaders to prove their statements as soon as possible. Otherwise, PLA will lose its patience. The leaders making such irresponsible remarks will be responsible for the consequences, PLA said. nepalnews.com ta Apr 07 09
