Policemen on duty assaulted by unidentified armed group in Surkhet
An unidentified armed group has attacked policemen on duty at a police post in Surkhet Monday night.
According to police, two policemen have been critically injured when a group of about 30 people traveling in a vehicle in Badichaur of Surkhet pelted stones at the police post and attacked policemen on duty with knifes.
Injured police personnel Prakash Giri and Shumsher Khadka have been airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment. Other injured policemen are being treated at Surkhet regional hospital.
