Oli for replacing current govt by UML led coalition
Senior CPN (UML) leader Khadga Prasad Oli has said time has come to replace the Maoist-led coalition government under the leadership of his party.
Speaking to journalists in Biratnagar on Wednesday, Oli said Maoists have failed to run the government, and UML has that capacity.
He said cooperation with Maoists would not continue until the party books the murderer of UML cadre Prachanda Thaiba in Butwal some two weeks back, adding that coalition of student bodies of the two parties during the Free Student Union polls was a mistake.
Oli also criticised the statement given by commanders of seven cantonments of the People’s Liberation Army protesting the UML allegations that cantonments have been the shelter for criminals.
“That’s their expression of their villainous character. No one will fear of that,” he said. nepalnews.com ia Apr 08 09
