FNCCI to hold Agro Expo 2009

The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Industry (FNCCI) is going to organise Agro Expo 2009 from April 10 to 14 at Bhrikuti Mandap in the capital.

The prime objective of the expo is to contribute towards growth of Nepali agricultural sector by displaying various agro products as well as technologies and tools being adopted in the sector.

According to the FNCCI, the expo will also facilitate interaction between producers, consumers, suppliers, entrepreneurs, policy makers and other concerned stakeholders related to the agriculture.

The fair will also feature agricultural products produced in ten districts of the country under the Micro-Enterprise Development Programme.

There will also be a separate pavilion to highlight the 'One Village One Product Programme', conducted by the FNCCI as per the public-private partnership concept.
