AISC issues code of conduct for PLA

The Army Integration Special Committee has issued code of conduct for the People's Liberation Army (PLA).

A meeting of the committee at Singha Darbar Thursday afternoon decided to issue the code of conduct for PLA combatants confined in twenty-one cantonments across the country.

According to the newly issued code of conduct, the PLA will not be allowed to issue any press statements without AISC's approval.

Likewise, AISC has directed to hoist national flag at PLA cantonments instead of Maoist party flag.

The meeting also decided to send its technical committee for a field visit to the cantonment located in Chulachuli of Ilam on Friday. nepalnews.com tm Apr 16 09
