INLS gets its Israel chapter
Nepali literature lovers who are living and working in Israel have announced the formation of Israel national chapter of International Nepali Literary Society (INLS) last week.
In a statement, INLS said the new chapter has been formed under the chairmanship of Sunil Sangam, who is an editor for tri-monthly magazine of INLS 'Insight' published from its headquarter in Washington.
Similarly, Nawaraj Acharya has been named as vice chairman, Krishna Thapa as general secretary, Hari Manandhar as secretary and Sita Baral as the treasurer of the INLS Israel.
INLS Israel said it will organise literary activities in the country to popularise and expand Nepali language and literature in that part of the world.
INLS, formed in 1992, is the worldwide network of Nepali littérateurs having its chapters in over three dozen countries. nepalnews.com ia Jan 07 08
