Load shedding hours reduced slightly
The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has slightly reduced the hours of load shedding beginning Friday.
The NEA has said that the daily load shedding will now be for 14 hours instead of 16 hours.
The load shedding hours have been reduced after the Middle Marsyangdi project started generating 35 Mw power.
However, the crippling hours of power cut are likely to stay put until the water level in rivers start rising once the snow starts melting with the onset of warmer season. nepalnews.com Jan 23 09
