Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bam Dev Gautam, who was admitted to hospital following complaints of headache and fever a week ago, has flown to Thai capital Bangkok for further treatment Wednesday.

Gautam flew to Bangkok for health check-up immediately after being discharged from the Neuro Hospital at Bansbari today.

Doctors attending to Gautam said the nerves supplying blood to in brains were blocked due to which he had been suffering from severe headache, fever and back pain for the past some time.

Organising a press conference at the hospital Tuesday, Dr Upendra Devkota said DPM Gautam has been advised to take medicine for the next six months to dilute the blood so as to make blood circulation easy. nepalnews.com Jan 28 09
