Conflict affected benefit from Red Cross assistance
Two hundred and six conflict-affected families in Gorakha district have benefited from the micro finance initiatives project implemented by Nepal Red Cross Society (NRCS), national news agency RSS reported Thursday.
NRCS has implemented the project with the cooperation of the International Red Cross Society.
One hundred and eighty-six citizens in the district were killed by the state side and the then Maoist rebels during the conflict period.
The whereabouts of 26 people is still not known.
