Khanal instructs party workers to retaliate against attacks
Chairman of the CPN (UML) Jhala Nath Khanal has instructed his party workers to retaliate any attacks against them.
Addressing a function organised in Manthali, Ramechhap Saturday afternoon, Khanal asked his party workers to give an eye for an eye in case of any attacks.
“Don’t stay idle if anybody attempts to attack you,” Khanal said. “This is the instruction of the party.”
UML organised a mass assembly in Manthali today to protest against the attacks on party general secretary Ishwar Pokhrel’s vehicle on May 17.
Khanal also said violence was not a characteristic of a communist, but of a fascist. nepalnews.com Jun 06 09
