Lamichhane to run for NRNA-ICC vice president
Moscow-based Nepali entrepreneur Jiba Lamichhane has announced his
candidacy for the vice presidency of the International Coordination
Council (ICC) of Non Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), the umbrella
organisation of non-resident Nepalis around the world.
Lamichhane, who is involved in NRNA's activities from the inception of the organisation, is currently an executive member of the ICC of NRNA. He is also the coordinator of the NRN Charity Task Force.
Lamichhane, a civil engineering graduate, is involved with a number of
businesses and social organisations both in Nepal and abroad.
He is associated with Kantipur Engineering College, Sanima Development
Bank, Sanima Hydropower, Mahajee Films Pvt Ltd and Molnia Power Pvt Ltd,
Nepal and is at the board of directors of Acme Engineering College and
Medicare National Hospital in Kathmandu. He is also in the board of
directors of Kantpur Television Networks.
He is currently the Managing Director of Nectar International FZCO, Dubai,
