Singh elected NC deputy PP leader
Nepali Congress has elected vice president Prakash Man Singh as the deputy
leader of its parliamentary party on Thursday.
A meeting of the NC parliamentary party elected him unanimously.
Parliamentary party leader Ram Chandra Poudel proposed his name for the
deputy leader.
On Saturday, Poudel was elected the leader of NC PP, defeating senior
leader Sher Bahadur Deuba.
Singh, who was earlier close to Deuba, had supported Poudel in the
