NRN NZ forms constitutional recommendation committee

 

Non Resident Nepali Association New Zealand has announced the formation of Constitutional Provisions Recommendation Committee under the leadership of constitutional expert Dr Amir Ratna Shrestha to collect suggestions from all Nepalese residing in that country.

The committee will collect basic and essential provisions for Federal, Democratic and Republican setup including voices of two million Nepalese residing abroad, a statement by the association said.

The committee has been formed as per the suggestion of the constitution drafting committee of the constituent assembly.

Other members of the committee include Laxman Karki, Baikuntha Aryal, Pashupati Karmacharya, Dr Bhuwaneshwar Dhakal, Dipendra Maharjan, Kesh Gurung, Tribhuvan Shrestha, Bijay Regmi and Dr Mahendra Giri. nepalnews.com Mar 05 09
