Thapa announces candidacy for NRNA presidency
Ram Pratap Thapa, the current vice-chairman of the International Coordination Council (ICC) of Non-resident Nepalis Association (NRNA) has announced his candidacy for the post of president of the Association.
He made the announcement while addressing the NRN women's regional conference in Paris on Sunday.
While announcing his candidacy Thapa also called for support from the NRN
community for materialising the objectives set by NRNA. Dr Upendra Mahato,
chairman of NRNA, was also present at the conference.
NRNA, the umbrella body of Diaspora, which now has its chapters in 45
countries, is organising its world conference in October. The world
conference will elect its new leadership apart from reviewing its policies
