National Geographic lists Nepal as best adventure travel destination

The National Geographic Adventure magazine has listed Nepal as the best adventure travel destination along with Brazil.

The magazine mentioned Nepal in the Best of Adventure category in its list of destinations, equipment and people that will inspire Adventure Travel for 2009.

While Brazil has figured twice in the last three years in the list, it is a maiden entry for Nepal.

National Geographic’s report is compiled by experts from the world of tourism, ones that partake in open air leisure activities, to give the annual 2.5 million readers of the magazine guidance on where to travel for their adventure buzz.
