NTB accomplishes its sales mission in North India
Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) conducted its promotional sales mission in three
cities of India-Chandigarh, Jalandar and Amritsar- from March 18-20, 2009.
"The mission went off well with lot of curiosity generated by the recently
launched package aimed for north India. The package became the focus of
attraction to all the travel trade in these parts," stated a press
released issued by the NTB.
This package was devised in coordination with the Nepal Airlines,
Hoteliers and travel agents of Nepal while lead role was played by Nepal
Tourism Board.
As per the special offer, the two nights and three days package in
five-star hotel category can be bought at Indian Rupees 15,100 per person
and the same package in other star facility category can be purchased at
Indian Rupees 12500 per person. Similarly 3 nights and 4 days package in
five-star hotel category is being offered at Indian Rupees 17250 per
person whereas in other star category, it can be bought at Indian Rupees
13400 per person. The package includes return airfare in Nepal Airlines in
Delhi-Kathmandu-Delhi sector airport transfer, half day sight seeing and
twin sharing on bed and breakfast basis.
Aditya Baral of NTB, who led the delegation of five agents clarified to
the agents and media about the Nepal Tourism Year (NTY) 2011 campaign.
He also informed that innumerous events and programs will be launched in
