No alliance with Gyanendra, says RJP chief

Rastriya Janashakti Party (RJP) chairman Surya Bahadur Thapa Tuesday ruled out any possibility of cooperation between his party and former King Gyanendra.

Speaking at a programme in Birgunj, Thapa said that he would not work together with the former king and that the RJP had already decided to adopt republic and federalism.

Few days back, there were reports about his meeting with former king Gyanendra at Nagarjuna palace, speculating possible alliance between the two.
