Prez Yadav says federalism should protect national integrity

President Dr Ram Baran Yadav Friday said that issue of national integrity should be kept in priority while restructuring the state.

Speaking at a programme in Kanpur of Kabhre this morning, President Yadav said federalism should be adopted in such a way that it should protect national integrity.

The president also opined that federal state should not be based on particular caste, ethnicity or language.
