Speaking at a tea reception organised by the UML at its headquarters in Balkhu for media persons, the UML chairman said that peace process has already moved ahead and it would not backtrack.

“Environment of trust has been built among the political parties. So constitution will be promulgated on time and political transition would come to an end soon,” Khanal added.

He also stressed on the need for concentrating on constitution writing by forging consensus on remaining disputes to be resolved.

The UML chairman also expressed his confidence that the parties would soon reach consensus on the form of the governance, federal set up and judicial system soon.

“We are ready for 'give and take' to find common ground for concluding peace and constitution writing process within stipulated time,” he added. nepalnews.com
