Janamukti Party calls off three-day bandh

Janamukti Party led by Minister for Labour and Transport Management Malwar Singh Thapa has called off three-day Nepal Bandh following six point agreement with government Sunday afternoon.

Janamukti Party had announced three-day Nepal Bandh starting from today. The party called off strike after the government agreed to address its five point demands including timely promulgation of the constitution, implementation of secularism and constitution with federalism based on identity among other. Talks were held between a government team led by Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Satya pahadi and a team of Janamuki party led by vice chairman KP Palung at the ministry.
