NC issues whip to party lawmakers for compulsory attendance in CA meet
The main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) on Wednesday issued a whip to the party lawmakers instructing them to compulsorily attend the Constituent Assembly meeting to be held on April 13.
Issuing a statement, Laxman Prasad Ghimire, the chief whip of NC, directed the party lawmakers not to leave the country till May 27, the deadline for constitution drafting, as the CA meeting could be held repeatedly from April 13 onwards.
Earlier, NC’s parliamentary party had issued a circular to draw the attention of party lawmakers that the CA meeting could be held any time to conclude the constitution drafting and peace processes. Nepalnews.com
