NSU protest causes traffic congestion in Kathmandu
Nepal Students' Union (NSU), the student wing of Nepali Congress, continued their sit-in demonstration and protests in front of various
campuses for the third consecutive day on Sunday.
NSU enforced Chakkajam, vehicular blockade, at campuses affiliated to Tribhuwan University (TU) - Pashupati, Shankardev, Amrit Science,
Tri-Chandra, and Ratna Rajya Laxmi - for an hour because of which there was traffic congestion along the main roads in the capital.
NSU has been protesting demanding immediate action against UML aligned All Nepal National Free Students´ Union (ANNFSU) cadres involved in the attack at them at Pashupati Multiple Campus in the capital last Thursday. nepalnews.com |
