Fire partially damages Nepal Telecom’s Bhaktapur office, lines disrupted

The Bhaktapur branch office of Nepal Telecom (NT), the state-owned telephone and mobile operator, was partially damaged after a fire engulfed it this morning.

The fire that broke out in the building after an electric pole in front of the office burst in flames damaged the main transmission room of the office and disrupted hundreds of telephone lines in Bhaktapur area.

However, policed are yet to ascertain the exact details of the property loss in the inferno.
