Govt registers bill to shorten constitution drafting procedure
The government on Sunday registered a bill in the parliament secretariat to shorten the procedure for the promulgation of new constitution.
Law Minister Brajesh Kumar Gupta registered the bill in the parliament secretariat to make amendment to the Article 70 of the Interim Constitution so as to pave the way for the promulgation of new constitution within the stipulated time.
The government had last week decided to register the bill in the parliament.
However, the House meeting is yet to be called to formally register the bill. Nepalnews.com
