Investment strategy in next fiscal year budget: FM Pun

Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun said Sunday that the government would introduce investment strategy aimed at achieving double digit economic growth in the next fiscal year budget.

Inaugurating the Revenue Office in Baglung on Sunday, FM Pun said that the government was in the final stage of preparaing the strategy aiming to attract foreign investment in some 50 large projects while foreign investment would be attracted in some 20 projects within this fiscal year.

He also said that the government was also mulling over ways to create a favourable environment for the taxpayers to encourage them to pay tax voluntarily.

Taxpayers in Baglung, Parbat and Mygdi will be able to pay the tax in the newly opened revenue office. nepalnews.com
