40 houses gutted in inferno

At least 40 houses were destroyed in a massive fire that raged through a village in Sambasa of Neulipur VDC-1 in Bardiya district Sunday evening.

The fire that started from a house spread throughout the village even as locals tried to put it out. The fire had not come fully under control by 7 pm.
