Leaders to continue talks on remaining issues
Top leaders of the major parties including the Madhesi Front, who are engaged in last-minute negotiations on the constitution, are to meet again at 4 pm to settle the remaining issues, chiefly state restructuring and electoral system.
The leaders who resumed their discussion Monday morning have arrived at tentative agreement on form of governance, establishment of constitutional and the citizenship issue.
They said they were close to an agreement on the mixed electoral system as well but few issues including the percentage regarding first past the post and proportional system are to be agreed upon.
