NPC lift British Gurkha Cup

Nepal Police Club (NPC) lifted the title of British Gurkha Cup 2012, defeating Mega Three Star CLub (MTSC) 2-0 in the final match played at Dasharath Stadium on Saturday.

Yogesh Shrestha and Bharat Shah scored one goal each in the 15th and 29th minute, respectively, to clinch the title.

With the win, Police bagged a cash prize of Rs. 1 million while Three Star received Rs. 500,000. The two semifinalists, Yeti Airlines Himalayan Sherpa Club and Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marshyangdi Club, received Rs 100,000 each. nepalnews.com
