FNCCI, US special rep for business discuss entrepreneurship development
The US State Department’s Special Representative for Commercial and Business Affairs (CBA) led by Lorraine Hariton has agreed to cooperate for the development of industrial entrepreneurship and business in Nepal.
During the meeting with Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) on Sunday in Kathmandul, Hariton said that Nepal should expedite the awareness programmes on the entrepreneurship for the sustainable economic development of the country. "The youths should take initiatives for the development of entrepreneurship," she added.
Identification of entrepreneurs, favourable environment and policy along with market access will only help develop entrepreneurship, said Hariton.
On the occasion, FNCCI president Suraj Vaidya also acquainted the delegation about the private sector's efforts for the development of country’s economy along with employment generation with the support from the government and donor agencies.
