MoLTM, PAF to launch awareness campaign about overseas jobs

Ministry of Labour and Transport Management (MoLTM) and Poverty Alleviation Fund (PAF) have agreed to work together to spread awareness about foreign employment among the people at the local level who are opting for overseas jobs.

The agreement was signed between MoLTM secretary Somlal Subedi and PAF vice-president Janak Raj Joshi with an aim of disseminating awareness at local level about leeward overseas jobs in order to minimise hazards faced by people in foreign employment on Sunday.

As per the agreement, PAF will aware the local in the rural districts with the help of local bodies and community.

As a part of the programme, the PAF will also distribute the hand-book on leeward foreign employment jointly prepared by the Ministry of Local Development and MoLTM.

Similarly, PAF will organise various informative programmes and campaigns to educate people about secure overseas jobs with the cooperation of locals. Nepalnews.com
