CAN names final squad for ICC World Cricket League Div Four

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) on Wednesday announced the final 14-member squad for the ICC World Cricket League Division Four to be held from September 1 to 10 in Malaysia.

The final squad comprises captain Paras Khadka, Gyanendra Malla, Sharad Vesawkar, Amrit Bhattarai, Shakti Gauchan, Basanta Regmi, Sanjam Regmi, Rahul Kumar Vishwakarma, Pradeep Airee, Anil Kumar Mandal, Prithu Baskota, Chandra Saud, Binod Das and Subash Khakurel.

The tournament will have six teams contesting - Nepal, Denmark, USA, Singapore, Tanzania and host Malaysia.

The top two teams will be promoted to Division 3 and will play for next year's Division 3 league.

The event is a part of the ICC World Cricket League and qualifier tournament for the 2015 Cricket World Cup. nepalnews.com
