NOC projects loss of Rs. 164 m in August
The monthly projected loss of Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased to Rs. 164.7 million from Rs. 13.2 million in mid-July.
As per the new price list sent by the sole Indian Oil Corporation on August 1, the sole oil monopoly will incur a loss of Rs. 164.7 million in this month while NOC had projected a monthly profit of Rs. 131 million in July 1.
As per the new price list, NOC will make profit of Rs. 7.39 per litre in petrol and Rs. 10.62 per litre in kerosene while it will incur loss of Rs. 5.41 per litre in diesel and Rs. 205.96 per cylinder in cooking gas.
