NPA to launch campaign for commercial pomegranate farming

Nepal Pomegranate Association (NPA) has announced to commercialise the pomegranate farming to make the country self-reliant in fruits production.

Organising a press conference in the capital on Thursday, the association said that it has planned launch campaign for commercial farming of pomegranate across the country with an aim to introduce Nepal as country of pomegranate.

The association also urged the government to support the campaign by introducing favourable policy along with loan facility to make the country self-reliant in pomegranate farming within next 10 years. Nepalnews.com
