UML cadres seize vehicle of PM's press advisor
Cadres of the UML-affiliated Youth Association Nepal seized the vehicle of Ram Rijhan Yadav, the press advisor of Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, Friday evening for using government vehicle on public holiday.
They seized the key of Yadav's car at Naya Baneshwor and handed it over to the nearly police station. They said using government vehicle on public holiday [Gai Jatra] is misuse of authority.
According to Yadav, he was returning from a Gai Jatra programme in Bhaktapur and that UML cadres suddenly stopped him at Baneshwor and snatched away the car key.
The UML youth wing has been carrying out protests against the government. The group today announced fresh round of protest demanding resignation of Prime Minister Bhattarai. nepalnews.com
