President should take necessary action, says NC prez Koirala

Nepali Congress (NC) president Sushil Koirala has urged President Dr Ram Baran Yadav to take necessary action to prevent the country from further crisis.

While inaugurating the national level training of NC district secretaries in Pokhara on Saturday, Koirala said that the head of the state should not remain silent in the critical political juncture.

"President should not remain silent at a time when political and legislative crises are mounting day by day after the dissolution of the Constituent Assembly," he added.

He also stressed on the need for political consensus among the parties to end the current political impasse of the country.

Around 200 representatives including 150 secretaries of all 75 districts are participating in the training. nepalnews.com
