Preparation of National Swimming Championship over

Preparations for the 17th National Open and Age Group Swimming Championship have completed, informed Nepal Swimming Association (NSA) on Monday.

The championship is going to be held here in the capital at Sathdobato Swimming pool from August 8. The event is being organised to select the players for the upcoming 12th South Asian Games (SAG) to be held in India, according to NSA.

The swimmers will compete for the total of 52 gold medals including 20 gold medals in open category and 32 gold medals in age group during the two-day event.

The total expected cost of the event is Rs 606,500, informed NSA. nepalnews.com
