FM Pun urges LGP dealers not to halt supply
Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun has urged cooking gas entrepreneurs not to disrupt the supply in the name of protesting the government policy.
During the meeting with Gas Dealers Federation Nepal (GDFN) on Wednesday, Pun asked the dealers to be ready to solve the issues through dialogue instead of launching strikes.He said the government was ready to see to their demands.
The liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) entrepreneurs on Monday announced protest programmes starting August15, citing the government’s failure to address their demands which include hike in the commission they have been receiving.
Submitting a memorandum to FM Pun, Federation president Gyaneshwar Aryal also urged the government to create favourable situation for the gas dealers to clear their revenues. nepalnews.com
