Services resume in Manipal hospital

All the services have resumed at Manipal Teaching Hospital in Pokhara after 13 days following three point agreement between the agitating doctors and hospital management on Friday.

Manipal, the biggest hospital in western Nepal was forced to close all the services due to the doctors' strike.

The hospital resumed all the services after the management agreed to increase 15 percent salary, said All Nepal Progressive Health Workers Association chairman Dr Krishna Koirala. According to him, the management has also agreed to adjust their salary and allowance.

Manipal hospital receives around 700 patients a day. nepalnews.com
