NOC loss soars to Rs. 410 m in August
The monthly projected loss of Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased to Rs. 410 million for the month of August while the same was Rs. 164.7 million in July.
As per the new price list sent by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) on August 16, the oil monopoly will incur a loss of Rs. 8.13 per litre in diesel and Rs. 205.96 per cylinder in LPG.
However, NOC will make profit of Rs. 3.36 per litre in petrol and Rs. 10.62 per litre in kerosene.
Similarly, it will make profit of Rs. 16.50 per litre in the sale of fuel for domestic purpose and Rs. 27.89 per litre in the international aviation.
As per the revised price list, NOC profit in petrol has declined to Rs. 3.36 per litre from the previous Rs. 7.39 per litre while the loss in diesel had increased to Rs. 8.13 per litre from the previous Rs. 5.41 per litre. nepalnews.com
