Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has directed officials to expedite effective market monitoring to control artificial shortage and black marketing of essential daily commodities.

Addressing the ministry level annual progress review meeting of development programmes and projects and the meeting of the Development Problems Resolution Committee of the Ministry of Commerce and Supplies of the last fiscal year in Kathmandu on Sunday, PM Bhattarai also urged the Ministry to maintain smooth supply of essential commodities with effective market monitoring.
