Three missing after mini-truck plunges into Trishuli river
Three people are feared dead after a mini-truck (Lu 1 Kha 4942) carrying poultry products skidded off the road at Jogimara along the Prithivi Highway in Dhading district and plunged 70 meters down into the swollen Trishuli River Monday morning.
The three, identified as driver Subash Poudel and Deepak Gurung and Rabi Gurung were immediately swept away by the fast-flowing river.
A team of police personnel aided by locals are carrying out a search operation to find the three missing men in the river swollen by recent rain. Nepalnews.com
