UCPN (Maoist) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal |
UCPN (Maoist) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Monday said he was encouraged by the resumption of talks with the Nepali Congress and the UML on Sunday and that he was confident of a political outlet soon.
Speaking to reporters in Butwal, Dahal said talks would intensify in the days to come and that the Maoist party would show maximum flexibility.
"Yesterday's meeting with the NC and the UML gave me a special responsibility. Talks will be held accordingly," said he, adding that there were two options before the parties- an agreement on amendment to the Interim Constitution to hold fresh election or revive the dissolved Constituent Assembly.
The Maoist chairman also emphasised that the parties need to arrive at a point in which all sides win, RSS said.
However, he ruled out immediate resignation of the government, saying that government change will happen only after an agreement is reached on the key issues. nepalnews.com
