Gold price starts plunging after continuous rise

The price of the gold Tuesday plunged to Rs.59,195 per tola (11.644 gm) after setting a new record high of Rs. 59,400 per tola on Monday in the domestic market.

The precious yellow metal was traded at Rs. 59,194 per tola on Sunday in the local market.

Gold price had been continuously surging since last Wednesday, trading at Rs. 58,050 per tola on Wednesday, Rs. 58,600 on Thursday and Rs. 58, 900 on Friday.

Similarly, the price of silver also declined by Rs. 10 per tola to Rs. 1120 per tola from Rs. 1130 per tola on Monday. Nepalnews.com
