New Tara Air plane arrives in Nepal

Tara Air has added new Dornier228-212 plane for the domestic purpose with an aim to provide additional services to the rural destinations.

The plane brought from Island Aviation Service Company of Maldives, made in Germany, has Honeywell TPE 331 engine and is equipped with Ground Proximity Warning System along with Traffic Collision Awareness System. It has also Weather Rader technology, according to Tara Air.

The new 18-seater Dornier228-212 is expected to facilitate the passengers along with supplying construction materials, daily commodities among others especially to rural destinations, the Air added.
