Police confiscate 9 kilo gold being smuggled to Ktm

Police have confiscated nine kilograms of gold that was being imported to Kathmandu in an illegal manner from Khasa, the Chinese town that shares border with Nepal, on Tuesday.

Driver Sete Tamang of Tatopani, Sindhupalchowk has been arrested for his involvement in the smuggling from Dhulikhel in Kavre today morning, police said.

Tamang was held with the precious yellow metal hidden in the van (Ba 2 Kha 2825) he was driving. Nepalnews.com
