UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said Nepali Congress has not been able to internalise the spirit of the people's movement after GP Koirala's demise.
Speaking at a programme organised by Unified Newa Morcha in the Capital, the Maoist chief held Nepali Congress responsible for delay in forging political consensus.
"The present NC leadership has not realised the importance of the 12-point agreement and the people's movement," said Dahal.
"The opposition parties are saying that if the Prime Minister resigns, the crisis could be ended in a few days. But we know that there are more pressing issues that need to be decided first to resolve the crisis."
He expressed confidence that a package deal on making appointments to key state bodies and holding fresh CA elections would be reached within a few days. nepalnews.com
