Sainik Awasiya lift CoAS Inter-school Cricket tourney for fifth time

Sainik Awasiya Mahavidhyalaya have won the 6th Chief of the Army Staff (CoAS) Inter School Running Cricket Tournament for the fifth consecutive time.

Sainik Awasiya defeated Galaxy Public School by 10 wickets in the final match held in Kathmandu on Sunday.

Winning the toss, Galaxy Public scored 86 runs losing all their wickets in 17.4 overs while the hosts chased down the target in 9.1 overs without the losing a single wicket.

The winning team bagged a cash prize of Rs. 20,000 and runner-up Rs. 10,000 along with trophies and certificates.

Prizes were handed over to the winning teams by Chief Guest Lt General of Nepali Army Netra Bahadur Thapa and Director of Nepali Army Welfare Planning Dhani Das Karki. nepalnews.com
