Two men held on charge of murdering their wives in 24 hours

Two men have been arrested in different parts of the country on charge of murdering their wives, in the last 24 hours.

Police said Kanchha Pariyar (35) allegedly beat his wife Niru Pariyar (26) following a domestic strife. in Dallu, Kathmandu. Niru breathed her last at around 1 am while receiving treatment at a local hospital.

Similarly, Hom Prasad Upadhyaya allegedly murdered his wife Pamfa Upadhyaya over a domestic argument, in Agnichowk Dhading.

Police said it is preparing to press charges against both men. nepalnews.com
